What I found at Mom & Dad's house 🏡

Hello Beautiful!!

Kalee and I spent Monday over at Mom and Dad's house, working on clearing more things out.

We're trying to get it ready to put on the market in the fall, and I knew going in that it would be a lot. What I didn't quite expect was how much it would affect me for the rest of the week.

I think it's harder subconsciously than I even realize. My emotions have been right on the surface all week — and then yesterday marked five years since I lost Izzie.

She was one of those really special dogs. After my divorce, she was my constant companion through some of the loneliest days of my life. Losing her still stings a bit.

But going through my parents' home — a lifetime of their things — has made me think a lot about what actually matters.

You can't keep everything. You have to choose. And in that choosing, you realize pretty quickly that the things worth holding onto aren't always what you'd expect.

It's rarely the valuable stuff. It's the things that hold a story...a memory...a person you loved.

I think there's something meaningful about that, even when it hurts.

It reminds you that what we leave behind isn't really stuff at all — it's the way we made people feel, the memories we gave them, and the faith we shared.

Have you ever been through something like that? I'd love to know how you handled it. Hit reply and tell me.

✨ What I've been taking — KLOW

I've been meaning to tell you about something I recently started, and given that my body has been carrying a lot emotionally lately, the timing feels right.

I've just started taking KLOW — a four-peptide blend that I'm really excited about, especially for gut health and anti-aging support.

I only have about a week under my belt, but I wanted to share what it is and why I chose it, because I know a lot of you have been curious about peptide blends.

KLOW combines four peptides that each do something specific:

  • BPC-157 — tissue and gut lining repair. This is the one I'm most excited about personally given my Crohn's history.
  • TB-500 — helps cells migrate and rebuild, supports flexibility and recovery
  • GHK-Cu — collagen production and skin health; this naturally declines as we age and I am here for any anti-aging support I can get 😄
  • KPV — anti-inflammatory support, helps quiet chronic inflammation signaling

Together they work as a kind of full-spectrum repair and recovery blend — gut, tissue, skin, and inflammation all addressed at once.

But here's what I really want you to know before you consider it. KLOW is not for everyone, and this is exactly why working with a provider matters.

BPC-157 and GHK-Cu both promote angiogenesis — the formation of new blood vessels — which is wonderful for healing, but means KLOW is not appropriate for anyone with active cancer.

GHK-Cu also involves copper, so anyone with a copper metabolism disorder like Wilson's disease should avoid it.

And as with most peptides, starting with the right dose for your body rather than jumping to a high dose makes a big difference in how well you tolerate it.

This is exactly why we work with EllieMD — their providers help you figure out whether something like KLOW is appropriate for where your body is right now, and what protocol actually makes sense for you.

If you're curious, hit reply and let's talk through it first. 🤍

And if any of this has you thinking about your own health and wondering where to even start — that's exactly the conversation I love having.

Our 1:1 coaching is how we dig into all of it together, personally.

Just hit reply and tell me what's been going on.

🎙️ This Tuesday — Kalee & Kim Answer YOUR Questions!

This Tuesday's episode of The Kim & Kalee Show is a fun one — it's just us!! We're doing a listener FAQ episode where we answer your questions.

From silly things like what our first cars were, to how to avoid soreness after a workout, to whether we actually think long-term fasting is worth it.

It's a little window into how we think and how we live, and we had a great time recording it. Make sure you're subscribed so you don't miss it!

🤍 A little reflection

I keep thinking about those shelves at Mom and Dad's house. Decades of a life, right there in front of me. And the things that stopped me weren't the things worth money. They were the things worth memory.

I think that's how God sees us too — not what we accumulated, but what we loved, how we showed up, and who we pointed toward Him.

"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven." — Matthew 6:19-20

Whatever you're holding onto a little too tightly this week — maybe it's worth asking if it's the kind of treasure that lasts.

Love y'all!!

Hello Beautiful!! I've been thinking about something this week... Do you ever feel like we're more connected than we've ever been...and somehow less connected at the same time? We know what people ate for dinner, where they went on vacation and what their kids did on the first day of school 😂 We can like someone's birthday post, send a heart on their story and text them in two seconds. And don't get me wrong, I LOVE all of that. Kalee & I have built an entire business online. We've met some...

Hello Beautiful!! Well...I feel like a big idiot 😂 I was in a ZONE yesterday getting things done. You know those days when you're flying through your list and feeling really productive? That's where I was....🤦🏼♀️ I KNOW all the things you're supposed to do when you get an email asking for important information. I normally check the sender's email address to make sure it's legit, and if it has anything to do with money or banking, I DO NOT click the link. I go directly to the website and log...
